Norma Hamilton is a paraprofessional at Ida B. Wells. Born and raised in Mexico City, Hamilton graduated from the Universidad Nacional in Mexico with a bachelor’s in science. To get her masters, she needed to learn English, so she came to the United States. Once she had learned English, she came back to Mexico and got her masters. Since then, she has worked in many different places which include, Southern California, Texas and Grants Pass Oregon as a teacher and teacher assistant. Her favorite thing about working here are the students. Hamilton is also a grandmother and in her free time, loves spending time with her grandkids.
