Mitch Elovitz is in his first year as a mental health counselor at Ida B. Wells High School. Prior to working at Ida B. Wells, he worked part-time as a mental health counselor at Benson High School. He went to Long Island College in New York where he majored in communications, and minored in business. Outside of school, he enjoys watching sports, singing, bowling and spending time with his daughter. “I really like helping people,” says Elovtis. “I really like talking to people, learning about people and meeting people.”
