Kathleen Diamond teaches English 7-8 and College and Career Exploration. She majored in English and minored in Communications and graduated in 1987 from Denison University in Ohio. Before becoming a teacher at Ida B Wells, she worked for three years at a publishing company before moving to Oregon and going to Western Oregon University to become a teacher. She then worked for 10 years at Roosevelt High School and two years at North Salem High School. She is now teaching her 13th year here at Ida B Wells. At home she has a husband, two daughters, a dog, and a cat that she loves spending time with. Outside she enjoys camping, hiking, and tending to her plants.
