Aram Ansell has been an educator for 7 years, all of which were spent creating and teaching the computer science program at Roosevelt High School. The 2022-2023 school year is Ansell’s first year at Ida B wells. He teaches all of the advanced computer science classes. Ansell describes his teaching “superpower” as the way he responds to questions that neither he, nor the student knows the answer to. “Every issue a student has is an opportunity to say, “I don’t know, let’s figure it out together.” he said. Ansell estimates that he has spent over 1400  days of his life skiing and it is one of his main hobbies in life. He also enjoys eating and cooking food in his outdoor kitchen when the weather permits.
