    STUDENT ACCOUNT INFORMATION FOR STAFF

Classroom teachers can print a class list of PPS student usernames from the TeacherVUE Reports menu, selecting the “StudentVUE User IDs” report (#U-SVU901).  For those who do not have "classrooms" in Synergy, reports are available at  on the Library Services Resource page.

Designated school staff can look up student usernames in Synergy (see Synergy Resources for instructions) or by using the student password reset tool.

If a student cannot log in due to their username not being accurate in Synergy, they will need to inform their teacher or other school staff person who can contact the Service Desk to verify/update Synergy with the correct username.

The Service Desk can assist school staff with student accounts, but cannot assist students or parents directly.

    OTHER ACCOUNT INFORMATION

School Library Single Computer Kiosk Account:
Each school has a library account to use for "kiosk" type access. This service allows for a single computer to be logged on and available to students in order to search the library system for a book or library resource.

    Parent & Volunteer Accounts:
Parents and volunteers that have a business need to log into PPS computers or systems must complete an Account Form for principal approval. After verification that these users are in the Volunteer database and have followed the volunteer process (which includes background checks), they will receive a network account so they may log into district computers and access systems appropriately. Please note these accounts will have limited access to specific systems, will not receive a PPS email address, and will expire at the end of the school year.
