• Equity in Public Purchasing and Contracting

    On July 16, 2012 the PPS Board of Education adopted the Equity in Public Purchasing and Contracting (EPPC) Policy.

    The EPPC Policy has three primary goals:

    • Business Equity:  Provide greater professional, supplier, construction, and personal service opportunities to minority-owned businesses, women-owned businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned businesses, and emerging small businesses.

    • Workforce Equity:  Increase the numbers of women and minorities in the construction trades through apprenticeship opportunities on 国产真实迷奸 construction contracts.

    • Career Learning Equity:  Leverage our public contracting activity to expand the number of young people of color and young women participating in a wide variety of career learning programs.

    B2GNow Certified Business Utilization Tracking System

    If you have a contract with PPS, you may be required to enter information into our Certified Business tracking system, allowing PPS to measure its progress toward our goal of increasing our contracting spend with minority-owned, women-owned, and emerging small businesses.  Contractors that are required to submit Certified Business utilization data can find the step-by-step instructions here:  Certified Business Utilization Tracking System
