Sellwood Principal’s Newsletter – May 3, 2024

Greetings Sellwood Community,

We are heading into the final six weeks of school, and many exciting events are coming up.  Please review the information about the two field trips happening next Tuesday, May 7^th, for all 7^th and 8^th graders.  Although the deadline for field trip permission forms was today, we really do want all 7^th-graders and 8^th-graders to participate.  So, if you turn in the field trip form on Monday, we will still make room.  Keep in mind that all 7^th and 8^th grade teachers will be chaperoning these trips, so 7^th and 8^th grade classes will not be taking place on Tuesday.

Also, as the weather gets warmer and we head into the final months of the year, we want to maintain our focus on academics and learning.  We would love to have parents help with Chromebook charging.  Chromebooks are an important daily tool in our classrooms and uncharged Chromebooks mean interrupted work time! Please help ensure that your students are coming to school with a fully charged Chromebook.  Teachers will really appreciate your help!
