    Choir
    In Choir, students learn to rehearse and perform in a variety of styles, including contemporary, popular, jazz, and classical. Educational emphasis is placed on individual preparation, group communication and collaboration, small group leadership skills, and expanding students’ knowledge of the music industry. Extra rehearsals are scheduled as needed and members should expect at least two public performances throughout the year. Prerequisite: None
     
    Concert Band

    Guitar (Beginning)
    In this class, students will be learning the fundamental skills needed to play the guitar. Students will work on introductory music theory and ear training, finder mechanics, music literacy, and the basic elements of music. Additionally, course content will touch on various facets of music appreciation, songwriting, and improvisation. Extra rehearsals are scheduled as needed and members should expect at least two public performances throughout the year. Prerequisite: None
     
    Percussion Ensemble
    Percussion Ensemble will develop proper playing techniques on a variety of instruments found in the percussion family including, but not limited to keyboards (marimba, vibraphone, bells), concert drums (snare, toms, bass), marching drumline, and auxiliary instruments.  This course will touch on world music and jazz, covering their respective instruments and styles. Students will work on introductory music theory and ear training, finder mechanics, music literacy, and the basic elements of music. Extra rehearsals are scheduled as needed and members should expect at least two public performances throughout the year. Prerequisite: None
