Mini Biography:

I love teaching business and financial education! As a former business and resource developer, I enjoy teaching Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses because they combine my experience in business and finance with my passion for education and desire to explore the intersectionality of race, wealth and gender in society. I received a Master of Arts in Teaching from Lewis & Clark and a B.A. Degree in Sociology from UCLA. I am licensed and Endorsed in teaching Business CTE, Marketing CTE, and Social Studies.

Being a teen parent decades ago and a first-generation college student, I was fortunate enough to have teachers who changed my life for the better. Every day that I teach is a blessing and I am grateful for the opportunity not only to teach but to learn and engage with the next generation.
