This is Tamara's 28th year in the Office of Admission at Rice. As a Deputy Director, Tamara serves as a thought leader in admission, with a special focus on programming related to the recruitment and support of underrepresented student populations throughout the recruitment and admission process. Tamara has participated on the NACAC Board of Directors and as a Board Member for ACCEPT – Admissions Community Cultivating Equity and Peace Today.

Eric Delehoy presents more than 25 years of college admission and counseling experience, having worked at both large public and small private institutions of higher learning. He is a national leader in the area of college guidance and, in non-COVID times, regularly provides keynote addresses and breakout sessions at high schools throughout the 国产真实迷奸 metro area. He is the owner of Delehoy College Counseling.

Debra has been guiding students through their high school experience for seventeen years, and particularly loves helping them thoughtfully approach their next steps after graduation. She holds a MA in Educational Psychology from University of Colorado, School Counseling licensure from Lewis & Clark College, College Counseling Certification from UCLA, and is Certificated as an Educational Planner through AICEP.

Jennifer Satalino has been active in the college access and success movement both in Oregon and nationally. She has served as both a director of admissions and of financial aid, is a founding member of the Oregon College Access Network. Jennifer has particular expertise in Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) completion and assisting undocumented students as they pursue postsecondary education. Her passion is ensuring equitable educational opportunities exist for all students.

Originally from Houston, Texas, Scott has taught in both secondary and higher education and has been tutoring professionally since 2005. He sees tutoring as an opportunity for any student to become a better learner. Scott specializes in coaching students with LD and is motivated by seeing his students transform their potential into action.

Rob has been a professional tutor since 1997, beginning in the Washington, DC, area, then in Manhattan, and now in 国产真实迷奸. Rob has dedicated approximately 20,000 hours specifically to one-on-one standardized test preparation and has been featured in U.S. News and World Report's America's Best Colleges, Newsweek, and Education Week.

Victoria Payne is a story coach, writer, and recovering English professor. She helps applicants by teaching them a storytelling strategy that lets them solve the riddle of how to write an original essay in just 650 words. She's the author of Write Big: From College Application Essay to Storytelling Standout and leads workshops for aspiring college students.

Kathy Garrett was a counselor, with a special interest in college counseling, for PPS for 20 years. After retiring, she started volunteering with MInds Matter, a program for high-achieving students who come from lower income families. She really loves helping students learn how to find colleges that they can afford.

Melea Tejedas currently serves as the Senior Assistant Director of Regional Recruitment at the University of Oregon. She has nine years of college admissions experience, primarily serving the Oregon public universities.

Bianca Degarriz has a B.S. in Sociology and an M.Ed. in Counseling - Student Affairs. Most of her professional career has been in higher education working in a variety of student affairs roles in both 4- year and 2- year colleges/universities. She also serves part-time in the Air National Guard.

Amy Romm Lockard, Founder of Dovetail College Consulting, is a trusted college admission expert who helps students identify their best fits in careers, colleges and other post-secondary options. Tapping into her years as a school counselor, college counselor, and teacher, Amy advises students of all personalities, backgrounds, identities, and needs.

Yamile Nataren is an Admissions Counselor at PSU. She pursued a career in student affairs after working with first-generation high school students in the LA area. In 2018, she was the first in her family to graduate, receiving her degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in Poli Sci. She recently received a Masters in Education from the University of Southern California and is excited to continue working with students and families to make higher education accessible.

Kelly Milford is a PPS counselor and college coordinator for the past 14 years at Wilson/Ida B. Well high school.

Jessica Wade is a PPS career coordinator at Wilson/Ida B. Wells for the past 3 years and also has vast experience teaching and connecting students to career experiences in higher education.

As the PIL College Access Supervisor in the PPS's Athletic Department, Wendell's experience as a Division 1 player, coach, and administrator lends his expertise to counsel, mentor, and inspire hundreds of student-athletes at the high school and collegiate levels. Wendell commands a thorough understanding of NCAA academic & eligibility requirements and compliance, and allows for him to provide insight and perspective into the pressures and challenges that serious student-athletes face.

Jana loves working in education and getting to see students transform their lives. Every day she is inspired by the students she works with and impressed with their intelligence, resilience, and determination. Jana has worked in education since 2001 and feels so fortunate to get to help students take their first steps towards college.

Rachel McMillen is the Sylvania Career Exploration Center Coordinator and has worked in career development in higher education for 20 years. She has a Bachelor's in English from University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master's in Counseling from California State University, Northridge. Rachel's prior career was in Human Resources and she began a transition into higher education as an intern with Moorpark College Counseling Department.

Jasmine Taylor was born and raised in 国产真实迷奸, Oregon. After graduating from Centennial High School in 2012. She enrolled into 国产真实迷奸 State University and received her Bachelors of Science in Health Sciences at 国产真实迷奸 State University in 2017. Along the way she realized that helping students reach their educational goals was her true passion. Now, with her current role as the Admissions Counselor Multicultural Recruitment & Outreach.

Becca Wolf works as an Admissions & Recruitment Coordinator for 国产真实迷奸 Community College. Prior to PCC, Becca spent over sixteen years working at local non-profits where she focused on supporting students' academic success and college readiness. Becca is passionate about helping people on their postsecondary journeys and finding the college and career path that is right for them.

Brandon Parry started working at PCC as an Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator at the Southeast Campus in February of 2019. Before joining PCC, Brandon worked for 4 years at his alma mater, the University of Oregon, as the advisor for the First Year Interest Group Program where he helped coordinate academic support opportunities for first-year college students.

Teresa Salinas has been with PCC for over 20 years. She has worked in the Admissions and Recruitment area for over 10 years and prior to that in workforce development. She most enjoys working with students and helping them navigate the college admissions process to help them achieve their educational goals.

Laurie Chadwick is an Education Coordinator with the PCC Career Pathways Program with over 15 years experience supporting students to reach their college and career goals. She enjoys working with students and anyone who is thinking of attending college, and connecting them to resources that support their success.

Meg Kilmer, a former PPS Career Coordinator, now works for the Union Carpenters apprenticeship training center introducing youth and their families to a post-secondary option leading to a high-skilled, high wage, high demand job in the construction trades.

Dr. Deborah Barany brings a unique perspective to working with teens and young adults by helping them to develop executive functioning and metacognitive skills. Deborah has over twenty years of experience working with students of all ages from middle school to graduate school as a teacher and mentor. She specializes in working with high school and college students as they learn to persist and persevere in order to achieve their long term academic goals.

Faith joined GICW in 2019 and holds a PhD in English with a certificate in Gender, Women's, and Sexuality Studies from the University of Iowa. Faith has teaching experience in settings ranging from college classrooms (Business Writing, Rhetoric, Public Speaking, and English Literature) to GED and High School Diploma tutoring programs. Professionally, she is passionate about providing equitable educational opportunities to underserved communities

Grambling State University is located in Grambling, Louisiana. The school was founded in 1901 and has a rich tradition of black scholars. It is also the home to the Eddie G. Robinson Museum.

La Shanda Hurst is a native of 国产真实迷奸, Oregon. She attended Sabin Elementary, Beaumont Middle and Grant High school. La Shanda is a graduate of Grambling State University and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. In her current role as Business Program Manager for Microsoft Philanthropies she is running one of the largest workplace giving programs in the world.

Tara Harding, originally from Arizona, taught history in NYC for 14 years before moving to 国产真实迷奸. She is now the PPS Teacher on Special Assignment for Advanced Placement. Her goal is to encourage and support diverse students in taking on the challenge of AP classes. She has a fifth grade daughter at Creston Elementary.

Graduated from Savannah State University in 2012 with a BA in Public Relations and Advertising. She is currently serving as the Communications Consultant for Oregon Family Support Network.
