Caroline Bleckmann, LCSW
Caroline Bleckmann (she/her) is the School Social Worker. She is available to provide social-emotional support, case management, and care coordination. In other words, if a student is struggling with any stressors that are getting in the way of their success here, Social Work Services can help. Typical issues range from situational stress over peer relationships or academics, to more serious concerns like anxiety/depression/trauma and food and housing insecurity. Services are always confidential, and Caroline will be sure to discuss confidentiality before beginning work together.
In the Benson Wellness Center, she coordinates among clinic staff and the rest of the building staff and works to make sure the Benson Wellness Center is accessible and integrated into the rest of the Benson Community.
Caroline has worked in School Social Work and School Based Mental Health for almost her entire career since 2002 and at Benson since 2015. She loves working with Benson students! When difficult things happen in their lives, she loves being able to help make the path a little smoother for them.
